Can I put a photo in my design?
Yes, we can incorporate a photo in your design. Use old childhood photos for
retirements and anniversaries. Use a picture of the happy couple on the
engagement or wedding favor bars. Obviously, providing the highest quality photo
or negative will result in a high quality image on your wrapper. Your photo or
negative will be returned in its original condition. If you prefer to scan your
photo, please make sure it is scanned and saved as a JPEG at 300dpi minimum. We
can crop and resize photos smaller, but we cannot enlarge a photo without
reducing quality. We can also do some touching-up, such as eliminating red eye
problems. Event-Bars.com reserves the right to choose the type and quality
of paper used for your wrappers. Paper will be chosen on merit of photo
quality, this may mean that your wrapper paper will be of heavier stock than
anticipated.

What kind of chocolate bars will these wrappers fit?
The wrapper will fit a Hershey's™ plain
milk chocolate bar or a Nestle's™ crunch
bar. Due to the smaller size of the width of the Hershey's chocolate bars with
almonds, the wrappers will not fit those bars. If you discover any other bars
that are the same size as the Hershey's™
plain milk chocolate bar, please forward the information to me at

Can a design on this site be modified?
Any design you see on the site can be modified to meet your needs. If you
would like to use the background pattern of a birthday bar for an anniversary,
we would be happy to customize the design. All text and colors of text can be
modified to meet your needs.

Can the colors of the design be modified?
Yes, we have software that allows several different options to help modify
the colors of a design. This software can also add special effects to a design.
We will work with you to design the wrapper to your liking.

What kind of graphics can be used in my design?
You can use photographs, drawings, and clip-art that is not copyrighted. If
the clip-art is copyrighted, we ask that you obtain the owner's permission to
use the graphic. We cannot use graphics of any characters that are trademarked,
such as Disney® characters, Warner Bros.®
characters, Hanna-Barbara® characters, etc.,
but if you are having a themed birthday party using a trademarked character, we
would be happy to match the colors and any wording on the bars to the color
scheme and theme of the characters and party supplies.

How far in advance must I place an order?
It is always best to order as far in advance as possible. We ask that at a
minimum, you allow 2 weeks for design changes, producing the wrappers and
shipping. For Birth Announcements, it is best to pre-design the wrapper in
advance by choosing your background and most of the text, fonts, colors, etc.
This way, when you call or email the birth details, the bars can be prepared
quickly. Changes due to gender or multiple births will not count as a design
change.

What kind of payments are accepted?
We accept checks and money orders and can also accept credit cards via
PayPal. If you are not a registered member of PayPal,
click here to go to PayPal's registration
page. PayPal is a fast, free and secure service
to pay by credit card to many vendors on-line. They also PAY YOU $5 for
signing up!

What should I do if my bars are received and are melted?
DO NOT HANDLE THEM, allow them to cool at room temperature and re-solidify.
Do not place them in a refrigerator or freezer, this will cause them to 'bloom.'
'Blooming' is when the oils in the cocoa butter come out of the chocolate and
form a white residue on the chocolate surface. There is nothing wrong with
chocolate that is blooming, it just may not taste as good as fresh chocolate and
is usually more brittle.

How do I put my wrappers on the bars?
If you order just the wrapper, easy to follow instructions
will be included with your order. Please leave the original wrapper on the bars
in place so you are not infringing on any patents and place your custom wrapper
over the original wrapper. Your custom wrapper can be attached using a glue
stick or a piece of double sided Scotch™
tape.

Where do I purchase discount chocolate bars?
You can purchase bulk bars at any Cosco, Sam's or BJ's wholesale clubs. The
boxes are typically 36 bars/box. You must be a member of these wholesale clubs
to make any purchases. There is a fee for membership.

Can you incorporate a business or corporate logo in a design?
We can place any graphic such as a logo on a wrapper as long as you are the
owner or have permission to use the logo. You will need to email the graphic as
a jpeg or a gif file.
